Lived down the street from Jeff when we were in Ele/Middle School… He was always curious; somewhat of wanting to be on his own and he had found this dead rattle snake he had put in between some cardboard and rode his bicycle all the way home;this attracted most of the kids that were out… He said he wanted to skin it and he moved it off the card board or put a wood block under the snakes head grabbed a small handle axe and right as he was going to strike down the rattlesnake started RATTLING LOL He jumped (as ever one did) never knew he could put that much air between him and the ground LOL… The snake had been sleeping on the warmth of the side of the road… believe he never made that mistake again… LOL Still makes me Smile those were nice days……..
