“Toffa” was a great friend of my parents, Marie & Ray McCorry. I mostly remember when he and the other Brothers would visit us at the shore; my, he was a big bear of a man! Kind, and friendly and easy going .... we were all so very happy for him when he found Helen and began the next chapter of his life with her. As things go, after my parents deaths we lost touch. I would occasionally “Google” Him over the years, but unfortunately I found him too late. Rest In Peace, Toffa. With much love, Lisa (McCorry) Hall

When I was practice teaching at LaSalle High School at Troy, NY in 1963, Tom was my mentor teacher. He gave me valuable guidance and advice on the art of teaching and I carried those words of wisdom throughout my 35 years in the classroom. I'll always remember him as a dedicated and caring person. Uncle Tom was my Godfather. He and my Godmother Helen often took me in for fun adventures, teaching lessons to keep these born educators on their toes and allowing a young boy to invade their backyard fruit trees. I have so many great memories of us together when I was young and although we lost time as years went on, they are forever in my thoughts and prayers. I'm sure Tom will be greeted with open arms from friends and loved ones sooner past. You were loved and that's what all should strive for.
