Thomas Stewart Rowlett's Obituary
Thomas Stewart Rowlett went to be with the Lord on April 9, 2019. Tom was born on June 23, 1926, in Springfield, Massachusetts to parents Richard and Helen Rowlett. Tom had 2 siblings, Caroline O’Handley and Jane Stuart. Tom is survived by two children Scott (Brenda) Rowlett and Lynn (Rick) Granda, along with seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Tom attended Wilburham Academy befor joining the Army Air Corps in WWII. After the war, Tom went to work for Brown Bridge Mills and moved to Chicago where he met and married Clarinda “Cindy” Mills, on May 6, 1950. Tom and Cindy moved to St. Louis in 1958 and raised a family. In 1998, Tom and Cindy retired in Ft. Myers, Florida. After 64 years of marriage, Cindy passed away in 2015 and Tom moved to Bradenton, FL.
Tom loved bagels, the Tampa Bay Rays and Buccaneers, and his cat Boots. You would know if you met him, for he asked everyone he met where they were from. Always the friendly salesman to the end.
