Emory and I were saddened to hear of Tom's passing. We fondly remember Tom as "Professor Wonder" a role played enthusiastically by Tom for our Kindergarten/first grade Sunday school class. Our deepest condolences to Katie and the boys. Rest in peace Professor Wonder.
A Twins spring training game won’t be the same without Mr. S in the crowd. Mrs. S and the Schlotterbeck family are in my thoughts and prayers. Always remember the good times. I know you will.

Mr S was one of my all time favorite teachers. He never treated me differently because I was Wayne Albers’ daughter. He was funny and always made his students felt like treasures. He was a gift!
As a staff member with Tom (and Katie)at St Michael for many years I will always remember him as always being quick with a joke, compassionate with his students, and always set a great example, whether he played Johnny Appleseed or was coaching one of his many teams. Katie and I coached together for many years and he was always there in support - I will miss you Tom but will cherish the memories we shared -RIP My friend - Kevin Blackledge
I met Tom thru his wife Katie. What a wonderful couple they made, as well as a exemplary example of love and support they were. My sincere condolences to you Katie & the boys. I’m sure that your hearts are full of memories of your life together. May God support you and the family as Tom rests in peace.
Tom was like a brother to me. He was always ready to help in any way needed. I remember the drives to the airport. Told him I did not like riding on the freeway so we took the scenic route much longer but back roads. When I had surgery Tom drove me to the hospital stayed for the long surgery and was there when I woke up. Both Katie and Tom treated me like family. Will miss his cute boyish smile, his humor, his words of wisdom and most of all his total acceptance of anyone with a different view. Tom was a man of integrity of grace and love. Will miss your corporal self Tom yet know one point in time we will meet again. Till then send love to Katie and the boys and guide them in all their endeavors. Love you Tommy- always and forever.
