I spent 35 years working in the creative department of ad agencies. The best 5 years I ever had, without a doubt, were the years I was creative director on Budweiser and Tom was "the client" - the brand manager of Bud. Tom was enthusiastic, smart, fearless, incisive, personable, and always looked for the possibilities. Because of him, Budweiser enjoyed exciting, successful advertising. I just learned of his passing a few days ago. It hurt. I'm enclosing photos here of a bike tour in Denmark in 2006 (I have dozens more). Tom and Judi, my wife and me. Looking at those photos now, I still admire his smile, his passion for adventure, his sense of humor. Thanks, Tom, for all you did.
