Thurman Robert Clay's Obituary
Thurman Robert Clay, 98, of Fort Myers passed away peacefully on August 8, 2024. Thurman was born April 16, 1926, to Thurman and Ezoa (Potter) Clay in Vassar, MI.
Thurman has called Florida his home since 2013. Throughout his life he worked in the field of finance, most of his career spent at GE and Continental Group. He enjoyed golf and sailing in his free time.
Thurman is preceded in passing by his parents Thurman and Ezoa , his sisters Betty, Katy Lou and Jeanette and his oldest child, Bradford Fredrick Clay.
Thurman is survived by his wife Thersea of 50 years and his children Constance, Christopher, and Kathryn. He also is survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Thurman's family has entrusted Fort Myers Memorial Gardens with the tender care of his final arrangements. There will be a visitation Wednesday, August 14, 2024 from 10-11AM and a funeral service beginning at 11AM. Shortly after Thurman's service he will be laid to res tin the cemetery.
