Timothy “Tim” Joseph Vaught, 72, of North Fort Myers, died at his residence on November 11, 2014. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM, November 22, 2014 at Pericos, 2401 Hancock Bridge Parkway, Cape Coral, FL 33990. Memorials: In lieu of flowers contributions have been suggested to U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Fort Myers Beach. Tim was born July 15, 1942 in Miami, FL, the son of, Lewis and Vera Justine Vaught. He married his wife of 17 years, Penny Calder, on November 29, 1997 in North Fort Myers. Tim retired from the U.S. Coast Guard as a Chief after 21 years of service. After retirement he worked as a preneed sales person for Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery for 15 years and also served as a recruiter for Career Path Training/Roadmaster Truck Driving School. He leaves behind his wife, Penny; son, Danny Cantrell; son, Jeff Smith; daughter, Babbette Heilson; son, Robert Olson; daughter, Brenda Silvers; son, Mike Salsa; son, Kaleb Franz; son, Todd Vance; son, Bob Pektas; brother, Ray Vaught; brother in law, Ed Calder; sister, Sally Smith; sister, Jamie Richards; grandchildren, Casey, Dillon, Skye, Landon; great grandchildren, Kylee, Waylon and nieces and nephews, Jessica, Austin, and Ava.
