Tomasa Rosado Torres' Obituary
Tomasa Rosado Torres, 97, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed peacefully in the presence of her loving family on July 26, 2023. Tomasa was born January 28th, 1925, to Satornino and Jenoveva in Arecibo, Puerto Rico.
Throughout her life, Tomasa loved spending time with her family. She would have her children and grandchildren gather at her home after attending Sunday mass at San Jose Catholic Mission. She loved to share a meal with her loved ones, shopping and anything that had to do with flowers.
Tomasa is proceeded in passing by her parents, her husband Andres Rosado, her sisters Cecilia, Crucita and Elba, her brothers Ines and Jesus, and her children Ruben, William and Juan.
Tomasa leaves her loving memory with her sons Luis and Felipe and her daughters Carmen, Lucy, Margarita and Gladys. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grand children.
While words fail to capture the pain of losing a loved one, we look forward to the time when words will fail to capture the joy of having our heavenly Father return our dear one to us.
Tomasa's family has entrusted Fort Myers Memorial Gardens with the tender care of her final arrangements. There will be a visitation held Monday, July 31, 2023, from 6PM-8PM in the chapel. Tomasa's funeral service will take place in the chapel on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, with gathering time beginning at 9AM and service taking place at 10AM. Tomasa will then be laid to rest immediately following her service in the cemetery.
