Tracie A Esposito's Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Tracie Esposito, 49, on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was a beloved resident of Fort Myers, FL since 2018. Tracie was formerly of New Jersey and was born on April 3, 1975, in NY to the late Robert E. Tooley and Patricia A. Hardiman.
Tracie is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Mark Esposito; three adored children, Marcus Esposito, Chloe Esposito and Leah Esposito; two siblings, Todd Tooley (Wendy) of Fort Myers, FL and Pam Fauerbach of Jefferson, New Jersey; sister-in-law, Sharon Vecchiet (George) of New Jersey; mother-in-law Rosemary Esposito of New Jersey; five nieces and nephews, Jagger, Cole, Brooke, Brayden and Ava; as well as many extended family members and friends.
Tracie’s vibrant zest for life radiated to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She met her beloved husband, Mark, at the age of 16, and their love blossomed into one of deep devotion. Together, they built a life filled with adventure, laughter, and unwavering love. Tracie’s passion for travel, whether it was a weekend getaway to South Seas or an extended journey, was unmatched. Her love for the beach and the moments she cherished with her family were at the heart of everything she did. She packed for the beach like no one else and could spend from sunrise to sunset. To everyone that knew her, Tracie was the true definition of FUN.
Tracie loved cheering on Marcus, Chloe, and Leah at their soccer games. She loved cooking for others, playing games, relaxing in the jacuzzi with the kids, and simply treasured spending time with family. In everything she did, she always brought excitement. The Jersey Shore boardwalk was one of her favorite places, and she could often be found strolling there until closing. Known affectionately as the "Christmas elf" by those closest to her, her infectious enthusiasm for the holiday season spread warmth and joy to everyone around her.
Tracie also had a rare gift for storytelling, effortlessly making others laugh with her quick wit and charm. Above all, she was selfless and generous, always putting others first. Even during her battle with cancer, she continued to put the needs of others ahead of her own.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10:30 AM, Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord, 8121 Cypress Lake Drive, Fort Myers, FL.
