For dear Trey: Jim and I are shocked and deeply saddened by your sudden passing. We received the news after your ceremony and so could not be there. We look out at our pool and expect to see you standing by it with net in hand. Yes, you gave us the absolute best sparkling clean pool, but you were so much more to us than pool service. You always took a little time to chat with two out of state retirees who came to settle in Cape Coral. So we chatted about gators, and wild boars, and lizards, our dogs, and life in Florida. Your kind nature and friendly smile touched our hearts and we looked forward to seeing you each week. You are a sweet soul and were truly one-of-a-kind. You will always be missed and forever remembered. The world is a lesser place without you in it. You left us much too soon. May you rest in peace. For your family, we send our deepest condolences for your great loss. May all your happy memories with Trey help to ease your grief.

My wife, Paula, and I first knew Trey as a baby and remember the time of holding a new joy during a family visit with my wonderful sister, Mary, and her son, Trey's dad, Billy. Though we are separated by many states, we were fortunate to have been able to have watched as Trey grew into a self-reliant young man through shared media postings and family phone calls. Mary and Billy, we are so sorry for your loss, may we help by sharing the joy Trey brought to our lives, as a new baby boy into a person who shared his joy of life with everyone he touched.

Dear Trey, regretfully Jim and I found out too late to attend your memorial service. We were so very lucky to have you tend to our pool because you became so much more to us than just pool service. You always had time to chat about life in Florida with a retired couple who came from out of state to live in Cape Coral. We looked forward to seeing you each week and hearing about all your adventures. Your sweet nature and kind smile truly touched our hearts in the brief time we knew you. You were like no other...a genuine one of a kind. We are so saddened by the news that you are gone. You are greatly missed. The world is less without you. Our condolences go out to your family for their great loss. Rest in peace, Trey.
