Valerie Carlson Miskovich's Obituary
Valerie Carlson Miskovich, 53, a lifelong resident of Fort Myers, Florida passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 1, 1970 in Fort Myers, Florida.
She graduated from Fort Myers High School in 1988. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of South FL and then earned her Master of Education (M.Ed.) in communication disorders from Valdosta State University. She worked as a Speech Language Pathologist and as part of the ESE Department at the Lee County School District. She was preceded in death by her mother, Kathryn (Pirkle) Carlson.
Valerie is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Joseph William (Bill) Miskovich of Fort Myers, FL; her daughter, Riley Miskovich of Fort Myers, FL; her father, Edward Wright Carlson of Fort Myers; one sister, Virginia Guy (Richard Lynch) of Lehigh Acres; as well as many special friends.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated at 3:00 PM, Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 2:00 PM until the service time at the funeral home.
