Vanhenry Rush's Obituary
Mr. Vanhenry Rush, 98, of The Villages, FL, passed away, Tuesday, June 17, 2014 in Belleview, FL. He was a former printer, a member of the Hoosier Club in Indianapolis and a member of St. George Episcopal Church in The Villages, FL. Mr. Rush was born July 3, 1915 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Isaac E. Rush and Nora Isabell Blaylock Rush. He proudly served from October 4, 1943 through March 8, 1946 during WWII in the US Navy. Mr. Rush was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Doreen Suitor Rush and his brother, Robert Rush. Left behind to cherish his memory, are his daughter, Lavon Scott of The Villages, FL; two grandchildren, Gregory and Michelle Scott and one great grandson, Jonathan Scott. Funeral services for Mr. Rush will be private and at the convenience of the family. He will be buried next to his wife in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
