Vera V. Taylor, 85, of Fort Myers, Florida, formerly of Alva, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 in Fort Myers, Florida.?á Mrs. Taylor was born on March 9, 1926 in Fort Myers, Florida, a daughter of the late William B. Parker and Maggie Mae Fine.?á Vera was retired from the Lee County School District.?á She formerly owned The ?á?áBackward Look Antique Shop in downtown Fort Myers. She was an avid collector of antiques.?á Mrs. Taylor was a longtime member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. Preceding her in death besides her parents were two sons, David S. Taylor, Jr. and Michael Wayne Taylor. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, David S. Taylor, Sr. of Fort Myers, FL; ?á?áher daughter, Paula (Timothy) O?ÇÖLeary of Little Rock, AR; ?áher grandchildren, Michael Wayne (Amy) Taylor, Jr. of Fort Hood, TX, Ellery (Cathy) Taylor of Cape Coral, FL and Jesse D. Taylor of Chicago, IL;?á her great-grandchildren, Brant Taylor, John Michael Taylor, Camryn Taylor, Savannah Taylor and Chance Ellery Taylor;?á her sister, June (David) Robinson of Fort Myers, FL;?á Several nieces and nephews.
