I would like to send my condolences to the Hinkle family on the passing of Verne. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. I know he will be greatly missed.

When Verne worked with us at Lee Mac Homes he always had so much energy and would do anything, with a willing smile, that was asked of him. We could always depend on him to get the job done!

I was glad I got the opportunity to see and say hello to Verne at Hogbody's not too long ago. It had been a number of years since I saw Verne but he still looked the same as I remembered him. He hadn't aged very much.

Verne was a pleasant soul and I am glad I got to know him. The sun isn't quite as bright as it was, with his passing. Hopefully, in the days to come, wonderful memories will give all the family comfort. God bless you.

My "Gr" Uncle Verne, was always Uncle Verne to me & very dear to my heart. There are so many great memories of him & he will be greatly missed. He was calm & patient & enjoyable to be around. His soft voice & contagious smile was comforting to anyone who knew him. I remember playing cards with him and the family years ago at his at my Aunt Norma's home on Higby. They were always good card players! We had some good talks on the phone once they moved to Florida & my Mother always kept me informed, You are with the Angels now and with your Norma, and all the other's in the family. Say hello
for me & I'll blow kisses up to the Heavens.

Verne Hinkle, ever so kind, always pleasant - mild mannered - ready to help at the drop of a hat - a smile that seldom left his face. Never in a hurry, never heard him complain or use profanity - simply put, he was a gracious man. The world would be a better place if his spirit could be captured and given to all. Verne would describe himself as “a common man,” to which I say “no way.” I wish it were trueI that others could claim to be as “common” as you. What hope the world would have. Rest In Peace. Reunite in the new found glory with Norma, your parents, brothers and sisters. I will miss the phone conversations we shared these last few years. Never forgotten.

What a wonderful uncle and brother to my mother and all the siblings. Kind, friendly and loved by all. We will all miss the smile and wonderful memories.
