Victor Nick Howard, 96, of Fort Myers, formerly of Sunny Isles Beach, FL, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018. He was born June 10, 1921 in Charleston, West Virginia to Isaac and Karamie (Nasrallah) Howard. He was a member of Saint George Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral of Coral Gables, a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, the Lions Club and a member of the Phoenician Club.Mr. Howard is survived by his wife of 65 years, Elaine Howard; his children: Elaine Green (John) of Fort Myers, Dr. Victor Howard (Tiffany) of Sarasota, Dr. David Howard (Ileana) of Davie, Dr. Donald Howard (Marti) of Davie, Dr. John Howard (Lanette) of Fort Myers and Christine Howard (Steve) of Tampa; his grandchildren: Ashley, John, Brooke, Chase, Amanda, Tara, Drew, Kate, Jason, Sarah and Sophia and his great grandchildren: Lily Grace and Wyatt.Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 pm Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at St. George Cathedral, 320 Palermo Ave., Coral Gables, FL. Friends will be received from 6:00 pm until the time of the service. Entombment will take place at 12:00 pm Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery with military honors conducted by the U.S. Army.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint George Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 320 Palermo Avenue, Coral Gables, FL 33134.Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907, 239-936-0555.
