Victoria A. Rivers, 76, of Estero, FL, died September 9, 2016 at Joanne’s House in Bonita Springs. Memorial services will be held at River of Life Assembly of God in Estero, at a later date. Memorials: River of Life Assembly of God Victoria was born February 3, 1940 in Utica, NY, the daughter of Michael and Stella (Handzel) Alesandro. She married Frank L. Rivers, Jr. August 10, 1985 in Westbrookville, NY. She was a teacher for over 30 years within the State of New York. She was a member of the New York State Teachers Association. She was also a member of River of Life Assembly of God. Victoria leaves behind to help cherish her memory, her husband, Frank; children, Michael Service and his wife Dawn of Nashville, TN, Cathleen Plows of Atlanta, GA, Daniel Rivers and his wife Sandy of Lowville, NY, David Rivers and his wife Tammy of Madison, NY; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Colleen Madison; and one brother, Frank Alesandro. The Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Victoria.
