Vincent J. Chlebowicz's Obituary
Vincent J. Chlebowicz, Jr., 98, of Fort Myers, passed away peacefully at Hospice House at HealthPark on Tuesday, November 15, 2016. Vincent “Vinny” was born January 8, 1918 in Waterbury, CT and lived in Cheshire, CT before moving to Southwest Florida. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II in the South Pacific. Mr. Chlebowicz is survived by his daughter, Patricia Treat of Estero, two grandchildren: R.J. Brodeur of Cumberland, RI and Kristine Harty (Kevin) of Lincoln, RI. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen (nee Ruzinkovic) earlier this year, his parents, Vincent J. and Valeria (nee Dasko) Chlebowicz; two brothers, Michael and Stanley Chlebowicz; and his grandson, Mark Vincent Brodeur. Cryptside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 19, 2016 in the Field of Honor of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by the United States Air Force. Friends will be received from 1:30 PM until the time of the service in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family would like to express their thanks to Hospice House at HealthPark and the staff at Springwood Court for their wonderful care.
