Virginia Louise Brown's Obituary
Virginia Louise Brown of North Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully while under hospital care for some recent medical challenges on Sunday, May 3, 2020. She was 79 years old.
Virginia was a devoted member of First Presbyterian Church located in downtown Fort Myers. She spent many hours volunteering for Meals on Wheels, was involved in Community Bible Study where she served as a teacher and a core leader, and willingly sacrificed her time for family and friends. She will be remembered for her kindness and sweet gentle spirit.
Virginia was born on May 2, 1941 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the beautiful daughter to Mary Agnes (Stevens) and Howard L. Cook. She was the devoted wife to Theodore Brown Jr. who sadly preceded her in death in 2014. She is survived by her three children, Ted Brown III, Carol Palow and husband Doug, Cathy Taylor and husband Ellery, and 4 grandchildren, Camryn, Garrett, Savannah, and Chance.
The family is planning a small graveside memorial service for Virginia following which she will be laid to rest alongside her departed husband. The service will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at 10:00 am at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens in the Prayer Garden.
