Virginia Hewell Eastridge McIntosh, 91, of Fort Myers, Florida passed away and went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 6, 2025. Virginia was born on August 21,1934 to Tom and Bess Eastridge in Blue Diamond, Kentucky. Virgi Read Obituary
It is with sorrow in our hearts that we share the passing of our dear friend and faithful online member, Sister Virginia Eastridge McIntosh. Though she lived in Florida, Virginia was very much a part of the County Line Community Church family. She never missed a service online and always let Pastor Anthony know how much the worship, the Word, and the fellowship meant to her.
Virginia especially treasured the times she was able to come home to Kentucky and spend time here in the mountains she loved, especially with her cousin, Granny Jenny Lou Combs. Those visits were precious, and the memories made during them will continue to live on in the hearts of many.
We will deeply miss her energetic spirit, encouraging words, and the love she had for the Lord and for this church. Our prayers and heartfelt sympathy go out to her family, friends, and all who loved her.
Though our hearts are saddened, we rejoice in knowing that she is now in the presence of the One she loved so dearly. We look forward to the day when we will meet again.

Virginia was our neighbor for the past 5 years we met in the parking lot of our condo association and quickly became friends. She was a spunky gal with southern charm and quick wit. We came to love her stories of life in Kentucky and how she saw the world is just a place she was passing through. We would often meet on the sidewalk between our condos to exchange a small sample of her down home cooking, which was delicious she would always say "I made a pot of beans if you want some I'll meet you in the bend of the road". Now her story has taken her to her true home in heaven where she is with Jesus and those who have gone before. Everyone who met her was better off for it and she will be missed every day.

Virginia and I were friends for over 30 years. We traveled together, laughed together and consoled and prayed for one another. She was loyal and hardworking. She was fiercely independent and didn’t let anything stop her. She knew what she wanted and didn’t hesitate to speak it. She was tough on the outside but had a soft inside. Small but mighty!! Her faith always got her through. I will miss her. ❤️ Rest in peace dear friend.

I wanted to tell you how sorry I am about your momma. I know the heartbreak of losing a mom and my heart hurts for you. Growing up your mom was always so good and kind to me and was a wonderful lady. A few years ago, I took my grandchildren to broad view and showed them where I grew up and one of our stops was the Mobil home park. I shared with them the story of us being friends and how we would walk to school and the girls club and showed them where you and your mom lived. I see pics of your mom and even though she had aged it was so gracefully. She looked the same as when we were young. Think I would have recognized her if I would’ve ran into her in the street.
