Debby and Christine,I am sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. I haven't talked to her in many years, but she has always had a special place in my heart. Your mom and dad were so very important to my mother and she made sure that I reverenced them also. I often heard many wonderful stories of my God-parents, your parents. The last I saw them was while I was attending Southeastern College in 1983. It was wonderful to see them at that time and I wish I had kept in better contact with them. My mother, Frances, loved your parents so very much. One of the stories that she told me with laughter in her voice was that your mother, Sister Miller, taught me to write my name at the age of three. My mother worked nights and often I went to church with your mother while my mother slept. My mother said that during church your mother would teach me to write on a piece of paper to occupy me. Once, my mother was resting with me and I woke up before she did. When she woke up, she found her white apartment walls covered in crayon letters of B-E-T-H! At first she was understandably upset at me, but then had to laugh because I could write my name! She always laughed when telling that story! I am sending you the love in my heart for you and your family and wish you peace and comfort at this time. I find comfort in knowing that my mom will have the opportunity to be reunited with your mom and dad at this time. God bless you both and your families. Much love,Beth Glattli
