Virginia Rae Walser's Obituary
Virginia Rae Walser, 68, of Fort Myers, FL passed away Saturday, April 4, 2015 at her residence. Memorial service will be 7:00 PM Thursday evening, April 9, 2015, at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial BLVD, Fort Myers, FL. Family will meet with friends one hour prior to services. Memorials have been suggested to Fort Myers Congregational United Church of Christ, 8210 College Parkway, Fort Myers, FL 33919 or to Lustgarten Foundation, 1111 Stewart Av., Bethpage, NY 11714. Virginia was born January 30, 1947 in LaCrosse, WI, the daughter of Roy A. and Evelyn (Broadhead) Hess. She married Michael Walser, October 6, 2006. Virginia worked as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service. She was a member of Fort Myers Congregational United Church of Christ. In her leisure time she enjoyed taking college classes to further her education and earned a BS degree in Legal Studies and a BS degree in Education. She enjoyed sewing, dancing, animals and going on cruises. She loved her time with her family. Surviving are her husband, Michael of Fort Myers; son, Joseph Bass and his wife Cheri of Cape Coral and two grandchildren Tanner and Trevor.
