Viva Jean McVicker's Obituary
Viva Jean McVicker - Age 94 passed away at 4:32PM on January 5th, 2026 at "Life Care Center of Estero". She was born January 21, 1931 in Sherwood, Ohio in Defiance County to Negley Rohn and Gladys (Williams) Rohn, both deceased. On June 2, 1950 she married Thomas Omar McVicker until his passing July 8, 2004. Mrs. McVicker was a Machine Operator and Supervisor at RG Dunn in Lima, Ohio. On March 17, 2020 she moved to Bonita Springs, Florida by way of a camper from Granddaughter Sarah to keep her safe from the Covid-19 Pandemic to move in with her Daughter Connie, who assisted with the moving and sale of her home. Viva is survived by her two Sisters (Roa Rohn-Boehm age 88) and (Shirley Rohn-Mercer age 87). Also, survived by her Daughter Connie McVicker-Graham with 2 Children: (Brad McVicker-Wilkin with Wife Dawn and Daughter Alyssa) and (Sarah Solms with Husband Hayri). Viva's survived by her Son Thomas McVicker's Child: (Christopher McVicker with 2 Daughters). Viva's also survived by her Daughter Pam McVicker-Burden's Husband: (Dave Burden) & 3 Daughters: (Melissa Becker with Husband Jeremy & 3 Children), Krystal Fergus with Husband Richard & 7 Children, and Ashley Harruff with Husband Matt & 4 Children. Viva's interests and hobbies were building her house in Lafayette, Ohio, building her fireplace with her father Negley Rohn, building the cottage at Indian Lake, Ohio, boating, fishing, lots of crafts, crocheting, painting, sewing, and she was a great cook with much more. Cremation arrangements are by "Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home". Her ashes will be layed to rest in the flower gardens of Naples, FL per Viva's wishes. Viva was a loved Matriarch of her family whose loving & funny personality will be cherished forever.
