Vivian L. Freeman's Obituary
Vivian L. Freeman, 86, passed away Monday, July 11, 2011.?áShe was born September 23, 1924 in Sherwood, Tennessee to the late John and Jamie Marie Payne.?áIn addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; brother, Lewis Payne; and sisters, Katherine Wittaker and Jenny Payne. Vivian and her husband moved to Lee County in 1994 from Pahokee, Florida but have been residence of Florida since 1939.?áShe enjoyed hanging out with her family, cooking, fishing, poker and games. Vivian is survived by her sons, Nolan (and his wife Daphne) Freeman of Port St. Lucie, Florida, William (and his wife Bonnie) Freeman of Cape Coral, Florida, and Johny Mack (and his wife Whitney) Freeman of Boston, Massachusetts; sister, Elizabeth Anne Coverdale of Belle Glade, Florida; grandchildren, Angela, William, Candace, Diane, Travis, Sylvia, Troy and Dawn Marie; 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. There will be a visitation on Thursday, July 14, 2011 from 11:00 to 12:00 at the Fort Myers Christian Church, 5916 Winkler Road, Fort Myers.?áFuneral service will follow at 12:00 PM. Interment will be on Friday at the Port Mayaca Cemetery Memorial Park on Pahokee, Florida at 11:00 AM. Arrangements are being handled by Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.?áCondolences may be left at www.fortmyersmemorial.com.
