When I was brand new to education – Wally – took me aside (on more than one occasion) and set me straight. As I just said to another of our friends ” Wally was one of the good ones”. He was the Dean of our Division at what was Edison Community College. He was and always will be an inspiration to all the educators that worked with him and for him.From the bottom of my heart – I say thanks Wally and God Bless
My sincere condolences to Wally’s family & friends. I miss him too – his intelligence & great sense of humor. We had many long philosophical & amusing discussions while floating around the pool, or at a section dinner. Hail and Farewell.
