Wanda E. “Betty” Rickard, 86, of Fort Myers, FL, died 10:45am, Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Health Park Hospital, Fort Myers, FL. She was a homemaker, a former Cub Scout mom and assisted her husband with his business through the years. She also worked as the Proctor of tests at the Master Gardeners of SW Florida Club. Betty was born April 25, 1927 in Lansing, MI to the late Sylvester Reitz and Wanda Elizabeth Beck Reitz. She is survived by her husband of 65+ years, Jack Rickard; son Jack Rickard, Jr.; daughter, Lynda Jill Boyer; sister, Joyce Ann Dunham; grandchildren, Thomas Michael, Robert Daniel and David James Boyer, Trudi Lynn Wesley and Keri Ann Green. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 10am-12pm, followed by funeral ceremony at 12pm Monday, January 20, 2014 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd, Fort Myers, FL.
