Wanda Mae Hudak's Obituary
Wanda Mae Hudak, 88, a resident of Fort Myers, FL since 1985, formerly of Cuyahoga Falls, OH passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 12, 2024, in Fort Myers, FL. She was born July 1, 1936, in Pampa, TX to the late Melinda Mae (Miller) Freeman and Walter Jackson Freeman. Wanda was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband Steve of 66 years; by their son, Steven Glen Hudak; grandson, Philip Hudak; as well as her half-brothers’ Lee, and Beecher Freeman and half-sister Kathern (Freeman) Miller.
Wanda spent most of her life in Cuyahoga Falls, OH where she worked as a secretary for Children’s Medical Center in Akron and as a supervisor of the credit card department of First National Bank. She later semi-retired with Steve to Fort Myers where she worked as a bookkeeper for a Dental Office in Lehigh Acres.
Wanda is survived by their three children, Victor Hudak (Carol) of Akron, OH, Steven Eric Hudak of Lehigh Acres, FL and Kimberly Rene’ Hudak (Curtis) of Fort Myers, FL; three grandchildren, Andrea Meyer (Leland), Brian Hudak (Kacy) and Christopher Ferrie; six great grandchildren, Kamrin, Owynn, Lillian, Emma, Nathan and Parker; as well as many extended family members and friends.
Wanda will be remembered by many for her warm and caring heart, and the love she had for her family and friends. She was a loving daughter, wife and mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date and held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery located at 10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273.
