Warren Alvin Pohl, 83, passed away October 25, 2011.?áHe was born August 18, 1928 in Cuba, Missouri.?áHe served our country in the US Marines. ?á ?á ?á He came to Lee County 25 years ago from Kansas City, Missouri where he was a member of the Masonic Lodge.?áWarren worked as a machinist for Jack Cooper Transport for 30 years.?á?á He was a volunteer fireman in Lake Lotawanna.?áHe always lived on water and enjoyed boating, dancing, singing and playing guitar. ?á There will be a visitation on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.?áFuneral service including a Masonic service will begin at 11:00.?áInterment with Military Honors will follow in the Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Pohl is survived by his wife of 29 years, Helen; stepson, Robert Lee Clark and his wife Connie of Kansas City, MO; 3 step grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children 12502 USF Pine Dr., Tampa, Florida 33612-9499.
