Wesley Gurley's Obituary
Wesley Gurley, 86, of Cape Coral, FL passed away Friday, April 18, 2014 in Cape Coral. He was a retired Supervisor with Woodward Iron Co. and a longtime member of Temple Baptist Church, North Fort Myers. He loved to bowl at Friendship Lanes and was a proud WWII Veteran of the US Army. Wesley was born October 4, 1927 in Oneonta, AL to the late Wiley Gurley and Ada Phillips Gurley. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Shirley Karg Gurley. By his first marriage, he is survived by his daughter, Robin Dorow and 3 sons, James Gurley, Gregory Gurley and Jeffrey Gurley. He is also survived by 5 stepchildren; Mark Senter, Valerie Senter, Michael Senter, Marianne Kenney and Heather Jones; his sister, Sarah Richardson; his brother, John Gurley; 5 grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and 5 step-great grandchildren. Visitation will be 6:30pm-7pm with Funeral Services at 7pm, Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Temple Baptist Church 18841 State Road 31, North Fort Myers, FL.
