Wesley Charles Jeffrey of Fort Myers Beach, Florida passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Saturday, June 22, 2019 following some recent health challenges. He was 93 years old.Mr. Jeffrey was born in Galena, Illinois on August 28, 1925, the proud son of Louise (Lawyer) and Charles Jeffrey. He was a World War II Veteran of the United States Army who saw combat in the European Theatre and participated in the Allied Invasion of Normandy, France. He spent his career with the Telephone Company as a Linesman specializing in maintenance and improvement of the communications network. He was married to and leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted wife Patricia Ann (Wheeler) Jeffrey.Immediate funeral ceremonies are private.
