Wesley Earl McGee's Obituary
Wesley Earl McGee, 96, of Fort Myers, passed away December 26, 2012. Wesley was born on September 26, 1916 in Clarkesville, Florida. He moved to Fort Myers, Florida at a very young age and has been along with his family, very proud life long residents of Fort Myers, Florida. Wesley was also a very proud member of The United States Army in which he served. He retired from Sears Roebuck at which point he turned his passion to fishing and dancing. He was very good at both of them and believed it enhanced his life. Wesley loved his large family and enjoyed the time they had to share together. He also earned an AOS from Edison College. Wesley leaves behind to cherish in memory, his son Chester McGee (Carol) of Deer Island, Florida, his daughters Sheila Silcox (Hardy) of Pine Mountain, Georgia and Dona Hash (John) of Fort Myers, Florida. Also his sister Alice Dibben of Maryland. Wesley sadly was predeceased by both of his parents, John and Annie McGee. Also predeceased by his brothers Gordon and Fred Mcgee and his sister Alma Carraway and Nesbit Jenkins. Wesley is survived by 9 grandchildren and 14 great grand children along with 3 great great grand children. All funeral services are being held privately by the family following a cremation service.
