Wilbur T. Hill, Sr., 85, of Fort Myers, passed away Wednesday, February 04, 2009. He was born January 13, 1924 in Germantown, KY and moved to Fort Myers from Maysville, KY in 1956. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and fought in the Battle of the Bulge and was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church.Mr. Hill is survived by his two sons: Wilbur T. Hill, Jr. of Flat Rock, NC and Andy Hill and his wife, Celia of Fort Myers; one sister, Wanda Bouldin of Cincinnati, OH; a brother-in-law, Homer G. Cablish, Jr. and his wife, Jo of Bradenton and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years, Bonnie C. Hill in 2005.Memorial services will be conducted at 6:30 PM on Friday, February 6, 2009 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
