Wilfred J. Laferriere's Obituary
Wilfred J. Laferriere, 77, of North Fort Myers, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2013. He was born January 1, 1936 in Attleboro, MA and moved to Fort Myers from Pembroke Pines in 1995. He served in U.S. Marine Corps, was a member of the Teamsters Union and a faithful member of Gulf Coast Church of Christ. Mr. Laferriere leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of a year and a half, Deanna K. Rogers Laferriere; his children: Larry Laferriere and wife, Pam of Fort Myers, step-children: Karen L. Schaefer of Vero Beach, Richard L. Bartley and wife, Teresa of Tampa, Kevin Howell and wife, Devi and Darin Howell; his grandchildren: Tina, Regina, Amber (James), Valerie, Rachel (Chris), Kevin and Becky; his six great grandchildren, including: Aristen, Damian and Avonlea and his brothers: William Laferriere and wife Loretta of Tampa and Ray Laferriere and wife, Gig of Attleboro, MA. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Jean Laferriere in 2011; his siblings: Anna Charlebois, A. J. Laferriere, Paul Laferriere and Bob Laferriere. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Gulf Coast Church of Christ, 9550 Six Mile Cypress Parkway, Fort Myers. Friends will be received from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
