William "Will" Adams' Obituary
William “Will” Adams, 55 years young, of Estero, Florida, passed away on March 5, 2026. Born on December 20, 1970, in Columbus, Georgia, Will lived a life defined by love for his family, his friends and the outdoors. Will also had a love for all sports, but nothing was bigger than his love for watching his favorite #15 on the softball field.
Will was a devoted husband to his wife, Jeanette, with whom he shared more than 20 wonderful years of marriage and countless unforgettable memories. He was a proud and loving father to his son, Clayton Prevatt, and his daughter, Megan Adams, whom he was so proud of and loved endlessly.
He is also survived by his beautiful mother, Shirley Cox-Roberts (Dan); his loving sisters, Cheryl Adams-Papasodero and Sandra Adams-Miller (Shane); and his brother, Fred Adams (Joanne), as well as many nieces and nephews that will deeply miss their favorite Funcle. Will was preceded in death by his father, Willy Ray Adams and his mother and father in law, Lynette Hawkins and Ricky Price.
Will had a deep passion for hunting and fishing and could often be found enjoying the outdoors whenever he had the chance. He was also a loyal and enthusiastic fan of Auburn Tigers football, never missing an opportunity to cheer them on with his favorite phrase, “War Damn Eagle!”
Will is forever remembered for his love of family, his contagious smile, and the many memories and laughs he created with those who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, loyalty, and love that will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew him.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens.
