It's been a while since Mr. Gaines' passing, but in the time I was fortunate enough to share with him, he had a great influence on me and my family. He has been on my mind lately so I thought I'd share. His wonderful life, sacrifices, and love continue to bless me and my family, especially through the extraordinary lives of his son Michael and his extended family and grandchildren. I had the honor of being the best man at Michael's wedding to Andrea. Mr. Gaines proudly presided over that nuptial ceremony which remains one of my fondest memories. Mr. Gaines is gone from this world but his love and impact will never be forgotten. His legacy continues to shine brightly. May his memory always be honored by our remembrances, prayers, and lives of faith and honor until we see him again in glory. Requiescat in pace, Mr. Gaines.
