Bill Lane inspired many to do their best and be kind to one another; as principal of Gulf Middle School, he was a great servant-leader. His passion for education was one element that led me to follow my dreams: to get a doctorate and become a teacher of teachers. His book was the pinnacle of his testimony.“My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” (Psalm 73:26)

Michelle and Family, We are so sorry for your loss. We both worked with Bill over our many years with the school district and knew him as a loving and caring man. He was definitely one of those special administrators who truly cared for all his “kids”. His death is a great loss for all who knew him. May you find comfort knowing many will keep his memory alive.
