William Frederick ?Ç£Fred?Ç¥ Brown, II, 57, a longtime resident of Omaha, NE, died Friday, February 3, 2012 at his home in Fort Myers, FL.?á Fred was born April 19, 1954 in Grove Hill, AL a son of Betty Burke Brown and the late William Frederick Brown.?á He was a graduate of Lower Richland High School in Columbia, SC and Tennessee Military Academy.?á He was a retired investment agent for Ameritas Investments and was active in the Catholic Church. He is survived by his mother, Betty of Manning, SC; two sons, Matthew Burke Brown, David Henry Barron Brown and their mother, Sara Maxwell Brown all of Omaha, NE; two sisters, Connie Varn (Bill) of Orangeburg, SC and Amy Dyer (Dave) of Irmo, SC; two brothers, Bob Brown of Manning, SC and Richard Brown of Columbia, SC; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. And a special friend, David Henry Barron of Columbia, SC.?á A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to a Catholic Church of ones choice.?á The family is being assisted by Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.?á Online condolences may be made to the family at www.fortmyersmemorial.com.
