Gamble, 76, of Cape Coral, Florida passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Cape Coral Hospital.?á Mr. Gamble was born April 2, 1935 in Detroit, MI, a son of the late William Ferris Gamble and Margaret Elizabeth Chauvin.?á He was a retired Die Maker.?á He was a veteran of the Korean War serving with the U.S Coast Guard aboard the USCGC Eastwind.?á He enjoyed hunting and fishing.?á He had resided here since 1998 coming from St. Clair Shores, MI.?á He is survived by loving wife of 56 years, Kathleen Gamble of Cape Coral, FL; his daughter, Karen (David) Pitera Fountain Valley, CA and his son, Robert (Barbara) Gamble of Troy, MI;?á his grandchildren, Emily Gamble, Thomas Gamble, Kathryn Pitera and Kristin Pitera; and a sister, Carole (William) Sivley of Clinton Township, MI; No formal funeral services have been scheduled by the family at this time.?á Online condolences may be made to the family at www.fortmyersmemorial.com.?á Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is assisting the family.
