Sue Tomko Shipitalo
Dear Ruth,It was with great sorrow that Martin and I learn of Billâ??s passing. He was one of the most kind and generous men that I have met in my life. He had a wonderful outlook on life and when I think of him, he always has a smile in his eyes. When we told our children of the sad news, they brought up days of apple butter stirring, catching a bee swarm at your house (those were the meanest bees!), and your dogs. We saw Bill at the final station Christmas Party where we were able to catch up on family news. It was shortly after this that Martin received his posting to Ames and later in the year we were off to Iowa.We will never forget the importance of the role that Bill (and you) played in our lives. You were both so welcoming and supportive during our first years in Coshocton. Our condolences to you and your beautiful family. With prayers for healing,Sue ShipitaloAs an aside, we also play trivia every Monday night and will be naming our team No Adults Left Behind in Billâ??s honor.
