William Mayhew's Obituary
William Paul Mayhew, 29, of Ft. Myers passed away Friday, August 13, 2010. Born in Elmira, NY, William lived his life to the extreme. Known as “Mad Dog” by friends and others in the mixed martial arts arena, William trained at TNT Academy of Judo in Tampa Bay with owner and close friend Jeff Ogborn. He was involved in car sales but his true passions not only involved mixed martial arts but also included Lacrosse, moto-cross, riding motorcycles and mudding. Above all, he had an undying love for his daughter Jailyn which was his whole world. William is survived by his little angel Jailyn Rae, daughter of Chivonne Duston; loving parents Bill and Diane of Horseheads, NY; beloved brother Brian (Tabitha) of Horseheads, NY; cherished paternal grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents. A visitation will be held between the hours of 12 -3pm Monday, August 16, 2010 at the chapel of Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
