William A Morris' Obituary
William A. Morris III, 66, of Cape Coral, FL, died June 11, 2017 at Hospice House at Health Park in Fort Myers. Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials have been suggested to Hope Hospice or to a charity of the Donor’s Choice. William was born October 14, 1950 in Fall River, MA, the son of William A. and Janice (Bower) Morris Jr. He married his college sweetheart, Carol Watson, 1971 in Rumford, RI. William was an owner operator of a fencing company for many years. He enjoyed fishing but one of his greater passions was his love of cars. He built his own replica of a 1965 Cobra. William even loved driving race cars. What he loved even more than cars was spending time with his grandkids. He also loved animals and was an active participant in training dogs with his grandchildren. He was very passionate about hockey and enjoyed participating as a hockey coach for his own children. He was so proud to watch both of his boys play college hockey. William leaves behind to help cherish his memory his wife of 49 years, Carol; children, William IV Morris and his wife Amy of Cape Coral, Nicholas A. Morris and Jenn of Fort Myers, FL; and grandchildren, William “Quinn” Morris V, and Corrie Morris. The Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of William.
