William E. Rozinak's Obituary
William (Bill) E. Rozinak, a 34 year resident of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away with his loving daughter Jean Anne by his side on Sunday, May 22, 2016 following cardiac arrest. He was 84 years old.William was born in Youngstown, Ohio on March 12, 1932, where he met and married his high school sweetheart Janet Lorraine. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps who saw combat duty during the Korean War and was a Purple Heart recipient. Over the years he worked hard to provide for his family and to support his wife with raising the family. He also supported many charities, held various volunteer positions and proved to be a loyal and loving friend. William owned and operated Maverick Oil Company in Warren, Michigan before selling the business to Mobil Oil and relocating to Florida. The retirement, however, did not last long. His energy and years of being an entrepreneur saw him jump back into business as the proprietor of several local bars and lounges including Bourbon Street Drinks Saloon, Pier One on Fort Myers Beach, Filthy McNasty’s and Scooters Saloon.William was preceded in death by his loving wife Janet Lorraine, his son William Alan his father Emil and his mother Jean Cecilia.
