William Frederick Shaw's Obituary
William Frederick Shaw of Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully following some recent health challenges on Thursday, October 17, 2019. He was 73 years old.William was born on August 20, 1946 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, the proud son of Mary Jane (Willcock) and Reginald Shaw. He was the loving husband to and leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife Charlene A. (Perry) Shaw, his loving daughters Donna Reichle and Diane Iacono and his beloved stepson Thomas McAndrew.He was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy, Treasurer of the Pocono chapter of the Porsche Club of America and he loved to ride his Harley. He retired to Florida in 2008 after working for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for 35 years. Bill loved to travel but especially loved spending time with his German Shepard “Jake”. He was a huge, life-long fan of Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers. Bill was well-liked and greatly respected. He will be warmly remembered and fondly missed by all who knew and loved him.Immediate funeral services are private.
