William O. Taylor's Obituary
William O. Taylor, 86, of Estero, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014. He was born December 18, 1927 in Wellsville, NY and moved to Florida in 1958. He was a U.S. Army Veteran during the Korean War. While in Wellsville, he worked in the oil fields that his great grandfather founded. He was a member of the Beloved Protective Order of Elks, Loyal Order of Moose, the V.F.W. and the American Legion. Mr. Taylor leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 37 years, Joan Taylor; his children: Catherine Jenkins and husband, Randy of East Fort Myers, John Owen of Fort Myers, Virginia Canington of Grovetown, GA and Christine La Stella and husband, Greg of Pompano Beach; nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and his brother-in-law, Bob Rogers of North Fort Myers. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery with military rites conducted by the U.S. Army.
