William E. Thomas' Obituary
William E. Thomas, 93, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia and is survived by his daughters, Lisa (Art) and April (Enrique); grandchildren: Heather (Ken), Julio (Destiny) and Aurora; great grandchildren: Warren, Oliver and Avery; and his cat, Boots.Bill was a retired Chicago Policemen, proud veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict where he received the Purple Heart and retired from the Army Reserves as a Sgt. Major in 1984.Bill had been a member of the Knights Templar, the Araba Shriners and active in Masonic service for over 65 years. He was also active in the SW/Fla Combat Infantrymen’s Association for many years.There will be a graveside memorial service on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 11 AM at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society in Dad’s name.
