Wilma Ceceilia "Bahty" Van Sciver's Obituary
Wilma Ceceilia “Bahty” Van Sciver, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2019. She was the daughter of Frances and Edward Bennett, born January 3, 1921 in Burlington County, New Jersey. Wilma moved to Fort Myers in 1992 and loved every minute of these years in Cinnamon Cove, where she was known for her playful nature and competitive spirit, especially in pinochle.She was a devoted and much loved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to: son, Gary Van Sciver (Lynne); her grandchildren: Gary Van Sciver (Lori), Mark Van Sciver (Marta), Cavan Guenther (Dan); her great-grandchildren: Kyle, Carly, Mark, Kevin, Kelly, Brady and Stella.Wilma will also be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends, including her dedicated caretakers over the years. The family also wishes to thank Hope Hospice of Fort Myers for all their comfort and support.Services will be held privately by Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907, 239-936-0555.
