Billie is now dancing down the streets of gold?ǪBill was born on a farm in White House, TN on May 10, 1921 and passed from this life to the everlasting life on February 3, 2012. She played basketball in school and graduated from college in Nashville, TN as an RN.?á After moving to Fort Myers in 1956, she worked at Lee Memorial Hospital, then worked for Dr. Harvey Stipe for over 25 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. of 58 years and is survived by her three children, Gary (Charlotte) Cook, Joe (Nancy) Carrington and Teresa (Ted) McCool; ?ánine ?ágrandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.?á She is now on Gabriel?ÇÖs basketball team and has already received a small reprimand from God for shooting hoops through angel?ÇÖs halos. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February ?á7th ?á?áfrom 1-2PM in the chapel of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with funeral services at 2 PM.?á Interment will follow in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.?á Online condolences may be made to the family at www.fortmyersmemorial.com.
