Wincie Watson Henschen's Obituary
Wincie (Watson) Henschen, passed away in Fort Myers, Florida from complications of pneumonia.?á She was born in Latta, South Carolina on August 16, 1916. She lived most of her life in Fort Myers and she loved and was loved by many.?á She worked for many social and political causes and was a founder of Zion Lutheran Church. Wincie gave a lot of her time to the Lutheran Women?ÇÖs Missionary League, LWML. She was the head buyer at M. Flossie Hill Company, an upscale woman?ÇÖs clothing store in Fort Myers as well as a professional seamstress for 20 years.?á We will miss her. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Thelma Lacy, Emily Mahan and Carol Roam and a son, John Henschen; her sisters, Frances Miller, Beth Netsch and Anne Gomez and her brothers, Thomas Watson, George Watson and Charles Watson; also surviving are her loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 2:00PM at Zion Lutheran Church, 7401 Winkler Rd., Ft. Myers, FL 33919. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1-2 PM prior to services. A reception will follow for family and friends at the home of Thelma Lacy.
