Winifred Lois Curtis' Obituary
Winifred Lois Curtis of North Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully at Lee Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 following some recent health challenges. She was 90 years old.
Winfred was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 14, 1931, the proud daughter to Edna (Schoen) and Fredrick Schonk. She was the devoted wife to William Curtis and loving mother to her son Scott Curtis. Sadly, both both husband and son preceded her in death in 2011 and 2015, respectively.
A Funeral Service for Mrs. Curtis will be celebrated by Pastor Graham A. Stein at 1:30 PM on Thursday, July 15, 2021 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Guests are welcome to gather in the chapel prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM. At the conclusion of these ceremonies, guests will recess to adjacent Memorial Gardens Cemetery where Winifred will be laid to rest alongside her husband and son inside the Mausoleum located at the Field of Honor.
