Zenaida Hernandez's Obituary
Zenaida Hernandez, 84, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away in her home after a lengthy illness. She was born October 29, 1930 in Pinar del Rio, Cuba to the late Miguel Vazquez and Cecilia LaRosa. After moving to the United States with her family, she gained employment as a seamstress, manufacturing clothing in the garment district. In addition to her parents, Zenaida is preceded in death by her husband, Dionisio Hernandez (1979) and her son, “Dino” Hernandez. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving daughter, Caridad Dvorak of Fort Myers; sister, Yraida Vazquez of Miami; brother, Francisco Vazquez of Cuba; two grandchildren, Danielle Pingrey and Dione Dvorak; and two great grandchildren, Devin and Gavin. Funeral Ceremonies will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date. Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is serving the family.
