Zoraida Roman's Obituary
Zoraida Roman (birth Name Zoraida Rios Oyola) has quietly passed away at home in the care and comfort of her son and daughter in law Jose & Brenda Roman whom she resided with in Washington State. Born in Toa Alta Puerto Rico to Manuel Rios and Librada Oyola she lived and went to school in Puerto Rico. She married and had 4 children Luis Angel, Nereida, Jose Antonio and Angel Luis. She moved to New York City for opportunity, growth and a new lease on life after a divorce. She Met Luis Roman Concepcion and had 3 more children Jose Luis, Antonio and Marisol. During that union she became a business owner (Bodega) and Landlord (Brownstone) with Luis Roman by working hard, making sacrifices and ensuring the family was always taken care of. Her love and devotion to family will always be remembered. She had a giving and nurturing spirit. After all her biological children were grown, she adopted 3 children Iris, Carlos and Kendall. She raised them as her own. Her passion was always making sure family had good food, a safe place and unconditional love. She loved to garden and always had a fascination to watch things grow. Her care and compassion for loved ones gave her purpose. She is survived and loved by a host of relatives and friends. Que Dios te reciba en su Gloria. A visitation will be held from 3:00-6:00 pm on Sunday, April 12 at Fort Myers Memorial Garden Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, FL 33907. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, April 13 at Fort Myers Memorial Garden Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, FL 33907. Burial will follow at Fort Myers Memorial Garden Cemetery, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, FL 33907.
